It’s just that when you are eating at night, usually you can’t be bothered to cook real food and end up snacking on canned food or biscuits that are usually high in sodium, sugar and calories. Also, after eating late at night, most people usually go to sleep and do not wait for the food to digest or do anything much to burn it off. Hence, they say that eating at night makes you fat.
But truthfully, if you eat at night, you can try to make it healthier by snacking on some form of fruits or healthy snacks. Unless you haven’t eaten your dinner or are really that hungry, these small snacks will be enough to fill you up such that you are satisfied but not so full.
